Cookie Policy
How FreeGmail uses cookies and browser storage — kept deliberately minimal.
Your choices
On your first visit a cookie banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or pick categories. Essential storage is always on. Analytics and advertising cookies (for example from Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites) are used only if you allow them. You can opt out of personalised Google ads at Google Ad Settings.
What we use and why
FreeGmail works with as little browser storage as possible. Without your consent, no advertising or third-party tracking cookies are placed.
Two categories of strictly necessary storage are used:
- Sign-in session. When you create an account or sign in, an authentication session is stored so the site can recognise you on your next visit. Without it, signing in would not work.
- Free mailbox on your device. When you generate a free temporary inbox, the address and the time it was created are stored in your browser so the inbox survives a page reload. Clearing your browser storage removes it and a new address can be generated at any time.
Third parties
Account sign-in and data storage are handled by our hosting backend, which sets the sign-in session described above. If you pay for a plan, the payment provider's own checkout page may set cookies under its own policy while the payment is in progress. We do not control those cookies.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Signing out removes your session. Nothing on this site requires storage to be permanently kept, and no site feature breaks if you block storage beyond sign-in and the free mailbox.
