What is an alias address?
An alias adds a +tag to a Gmail, Outlook or Hotmail address. Mail sent to it is delivered to the same mailbox, which is how we show it in your inbox. Many sites accept aliases; some reject them.
What does an original address add?
An original address has no alias tag, so it works on sites that block aliases. Premium also shows full message content, including links. A used original address is never given to another user.
Which should I pick?
- Free — newsletters, trials and sites that accept alias addresses.
- Premium — sites that reject aliases, or when you need the links inside an email.
